Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ben Gillitt, operator of ZoneHunt. By using ZoneHunt you accept them. You must be at least 13, and users below the age of legal majority must have permission from a parent or guardian. Contact: bengillitt@proton.me.

ZoneHunt is a real-world activity game. Stay aware of traffic, terrain, weather, private property, local restrictions and other people. Do not look at or handle a device while driving or cycling.

Do not trespass, enter dangerous areas, arrange unsafe play zones, conceal hazards, or pressure anyone to share location. The host is responsible for selecting an appropriate area and rules; every player remains responsible for their own conduct and safety.

ZoneHunt may create a guest account automatically. You may attach an email and password to preserve access. Keep credentials secure.

Do not harass others, impersonate people, use offensive display names, cheat, interfere with the service, scrape data, reverse engineer protected services, exploit vulnerabilities, or use another person’s location outside the intended match. We may restrict access needed to protect users or the service.

ZoneHunt Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the benefits shown before purchase. The applicable App Store or Google Play checkout displays the local price, billing period and any trial.

Payment is charged to your store account and renews unless cancelled through that store before renewal. You can manage or cancel through the subscription-management link in ZoneHunt or your store account. Deleting ZoneHunt does not cancel a store subscription. Refunds are handled under the store’s rules and applicable law.

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use ZoneHunt for lawful, non-commercial play. ZoneHunt software, branding and content remain owned by us or our licensors.

You retain rights in information you submit and permit us to process it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

Location accuracy, mobile coverage, battery restrictions and third-party services can affect gameplay. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may change modes, limits or features, but will not remove paid entitlement without respecting applicable consumer law. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

ZoneHunt is provided with reasonable care and skill, but real-world play carries risks that technology cannot eliminate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses, or harm caused by unsafe or unlawful use.

You may stop using ZoneHunt at any time and may delete your account in the Account screen. Account deletion is permanent and removes associated app data, but does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription.

We may terminate access for serious or repeated breach, while preserving rights required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections or right to bring proceedings available where you live.

We may update these terms for legal, security or product changes and will identify the new effective date or give notice when required.
